The Leaf Sensor is a wireless, single-use, disposable device that is adhered to a patient’s chest. The goal is to monitor the patient’s position, movements and activity. Also, real time visual notifications are provided when assistance is necessary to meet patient mobility goals. A drawback is that this sensor can’t be used on patients who have tape allergy.
