Technical devices - Consultation with stakeholders in Hungary

On 25th October 2017 the first Hungarian consultation with stakeholders was organized by SZÁMALK-SZALÉZI Post-Secondary Vocational School in Budapest.

The aim of the event was to get familiar with senior care ICT devices and applications available in Hungary, and to start the cooperation with developers and manufacturers. Social care workers and VET teachers were represented besides the manufacturers, developers who gave the presentations.

After an overview about the project objectives, the results of the senior and teacher questionnaires were presented.

Presentations were given by guests in the following topics:

  • Remote care services by György Nonn, representative of G4S Zrt.
  • MAP Health Watch by Attila Jakab, managing director of Medical Evolution Ltd.
  • Telemedicine Centre - developments, future opportunities, application of digital tools in senior care by Erzsébert Forczek Szanyiné , Ph.D, from the University of Szeged.
  • Electronic Health Services Platform (EESZT) - opportunities and changes in healthcare by Zsolt Péter Puskás, EESZT developer.

The program ended in a discussion about future trends as well as the content of the online course, with emphasis on assistive technologies.
